Glossary of Terms

  1. $AURI: The native token of the Aurica ecosystem, used for transactions, staking, governance, and other utilities within the platform.

  2. Carbon Credits: Certificates representing the right to emit a certain amount of carbon dioxide or other greenhouse gases.

  3. Green Project NFTs: Non-fungible tokens representing investment in specific environmental projects.

  4. Staking: The process of locking tokens to receive rewards and participate in platform governance.

  5. Bonding: A mechanism where users can deposit assets into the Aurica Treasury in exchange for $AURI tokens at a discounted rate.

  6. veAURI: Voting-escrowed AURI, a token representing staked $AURI and granting governance rights within the Aurica ecosystem.

  7. ERC-20/SPL Tokens: Standard token types on Ethereum and Solana blockchains, respectively.
